It was a picture-perfect autumn day in Corte Bella as laughter and the joyful sounds of pets filled the Recreation Area during the annual Smiling Out Loud (SOUL) Pet Costume Event. This beloved community tradition once again brought residents together to celebrate creativity, companionship, and community spirit — with a little help from some very special volunteers.
The Corte Bella Vets organization stepped up in a big way this year, assisting the SOUL group by setting up and managing the event’s sound system. Thanks to their technical expertise, clear communication carried throughout the Recreation Area, helping the event run smoothly from start to finish.
Colorful costumes and wagging tails were everywhere as pets strutted proudly across the grass — from biker dog and fairy princesses to clever owner–pet duos that drew big smiles from the crowd. The clear announcements and background tunes added energy and excitement, creating the perfect atmosphere for this heartwarming community gathering.
The collaboration between the Corte Bella Vets and Smiling Out Loud highlighted what makes our community so special — neighbors supporting one another and sharing their talents to make Corte Bella events shine.
