This Memorial Day, the Corte Bella community came together in a moving tribute to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
From the presentation of the flags representing each branch of military service, to the stars symbolizing the original colonies that formed our nation, every moment reflected patriotism, gratitude, and remembrance. The music of the Revolution, beautifully played by Sue McCamley on the piccolo, reminded us of the courage and sacrifice upon which America was founded.
As Taps played by Bill McCauley echoed through the air and the American flag was lowered to half-staff in solemn remembrance, then raised again in hope and honor, we stood united as a community — remembering those who gave all for our country.
Thank you to everyone who participated in making this Memorial Day ceremony so meaningful. May we never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom.
